LINPAC Allibert manufactures a wide range of modular GRP gratings, floor slats and structural components, suitable for use where walkways and stairways are prone to slippery conditions.
GRP Alligrid gratings
Made from isophthalic resin, these gratings are more corrosion-resistant than the Securiline range (see below), and are ideal for use in applications where corrosive substances are present – such as certain manufacturing and chemical processing plants, nuclear power stations, some offshore applications, etc. The lightweight modular gratings are available in rectangular (85 x 18mm) or square (19 x 19mm and 30 x 30mm) formats, in a range of thicknesses from 25 to 40mm.
They are manufactured from interwoven fibreglass strands for great strength and have silica grains embedded in their surface layers to provide effective slip resistance.
GRP Securiline gratings
These low-cost gratings are designed for walkways where contact with corrosive substances is minimal – such as automotive, fish farms, offshore, pharmaceutical manufacture, warehouses, offices, etc. Manufactured from high quality polyester DCPD GRP, they are available in the same dimensions as the Alligrid range, and also feature anti-slip surfaces.
Floor slats and raised flooring
The company offers a range of modular polypropylene floor slats, load-bearing slats and raised flooring components. Slats are lightweight and clip together for easy installation/removal without tools. Used to protect ground and to provide a comfortable working surface insulated from cold and moisture, they are corrosion resistant to most chemicals and incorporate channels to allow liquids to escape.
Raised flooring panels are also available in square (1000 x 1000mm) format, offering a choice of foot heights of 200 or 300mm.
Structural components
LINPAC Allibert also designs and manufactures modular GRP structural components that can be integrated readily into existing steel, concrete and plastic structures. These include stair treads, ladders, ladder safety cages, handrails, kick plates, posts, intermediate rails and support structures (pillars and beams).
Components are quick and easy to install, with no need for welding, painting or specially trained installers. They are also completely maintenance free.
