Charitable Support
Across the LINPAC Group, we support numerous local charities and local initiatives to really help make a difference to their success and their aims. We also host visits to our manufacturing sites for local schools and community groups to help develop an understanding of what we do and why we do it.
Read on for some examples of our support over the last year:
- Our Plastics factory in Featherstone, Yorkshire donates to Hemsworth Arts and Community College to help students learn about Economic Sustainable Development and renewable energy resources. The College is using this financial support to build a wind turbine.
- LINPAC Recycling supported Royds School in Wakefield in their endeavor to supply materials to equip an educational facility in Belarus.
- LINPAC Plastics in South Africa this year supported The Durbanville Children's Home who cares for 169 children in need of support from all communities of the Cape Peninsula.
- Viscount donated Au$4,000 to WaterAid, the chosen charity of our industry association PACIA (Plastics & Chemicals Industries Association).
