Energy champion for LINPAC

LINPAC Plastics has appointed Mark Reynolds as Division Energy Champion, reinforcing the packaging provider’s commitment to reducing energy use across all sites.

Mark, who has worked for LINPAC for 15 years, takes up the position in conjunction with his current HSHE role.  He will direct all energy saving activities across the LINPAC Packaging division and will work closely with the site Energy Champions across the world.

The leading packaging provider, which has 27 manufacturing plants throughout the world and employs more than 5000 people, has 250 energy related projects involving 100 individuals happening at any one time. To date more than £200,000 has been saved through energy initiatives that have cut usage by 30%.

Mark said: “This is a great opportunity; energy efficiency is a key performance measure and indicator for the LINPAC business and one which I am eager to support. Our energy savings to date are testament to everyone’s commitment to reducing usage – my objectives will be to maintain this enthusiasm, support the energy champions and continue to achieve positive results.”
