LINPAC Allibert partners with Wincanton for total security
LINPAC Allibert, a world leader in materials handling solutions, has teamed up with Wincanton, a leading electrical and electronic recycler, to ensure safe and secure transport of redundant PCs. LINPAC Allibert has been supplying Wincanton with tamper-proof bulk boxes to transport waste products ahead of recycling.
The boxes’ unique security system ensures that the end-of-life PCs, some of which may still contain sensitive information, cannot be interfered with during transit and can be safely delivered to Wincanton’s dedicated waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) treatment plant in Billingham, Middlesborough, United Kingdom.
Danilo Oliynik, Commerical Director, LINPAC Allibert, said: “Our environmental policy focuses particularly on sustainability and recycling, and as such we are pleased to be supporting Wincanton in delivering on its WEEE objectives. Our boxes have a lifespan of up to seven years and are completely recyclable.”
LINPAC Allibert’s tough, durable, structural foam boxes are easy to assemble and fold and incorporate steel plates, providing them with added strength and longevity.
Simon Hill, Commercial Manager, Wincanton, said: “We are continually committed to providing a streamlined process for the collection, sortation and compliant disposal of WEEE products. Because we recycle high numbers of PCs every year, security is an important concern. With LINPAC Allibert’s bulk boxes we have peace of mind that PCs will be transported safely to the recycling plant.”
