LINPAC Envirobins to feature on TV
Envirobin internal recycling bins from LINPAC Environmental will feature in a UK television programme to be aired on the new NHS ONLINE TV channel at the end of September 2010. The documentary, entitled ‘Solutions for a Sustainable Health Environment’, will be screened on Thursday 30th September at 7.30pm and be repeated on Sunday 3rd October at 6.00pm.
Presented by Georgina Burnett, and including an interview with Dr David Pencheon, Director of the NHS Sustainable Unit, the programme highlights key areas where products and materials used within the NHS can be reduced, reused and recycled.
A section within the programme shows Envirobin recycling bins being manufactured by LINPAC in Corsham, Wiltshire, United Kingdom. General Manager, Paul Black, discusses the key features that make Envirobins suitable for use as part of a co-ordinated programme within hospitals to collect a wide variety of recyclable materials, such as newspapers, plastic bottles and aluminium cans – but also other items, including batteries, CDs and spectacles.
NHS ONLINE TV can be found on Sky Channel 166 and Freesat Channel 402. It will also be available on the web at http://information.tv/WatchLive/WPM/?id=1 and http://www.nhsonline.net from 4th October 2010.
