LINPAC Packaging invests in German market growth
As part of its investment in the local packaging market, UK-based LINPAC Packaging has strengthened its national sales team in Germany with four new appointments.
Films expert Uwe Lutzke brings a wealth of experience to LINPAC following 25 years in the packaging industry – having previously worked with Tyvek, Südpack, Obermühle and Amcor, across food, non-food and medical device sectors, and in a variety of sales and key accounts management positions.
Uwe said: “Successful sales largely depend on the relationship between the supplier and the customer. I look forward to working with my new colleagues at Ritterhude and to building on existing relationships with our clients as well as developing new ones.”
Uwe Lutzke joins Alexander Baruschke, Stephan Börner and Siegmund Schulze who have all been appointed over recent months.
Alexander is now heading up the team as Sales Manager in Ritterhude – working alongside Stephan, who is responsible for generating new sales and strengthening relationships with existing customers in the south of Germany and Switzerland.
Siegmund will focus on customer service and increasing sales across eastern Germany. He has previously worked at LINPAC’s Beeskow site between 1984 and 1998, and is keen to re-establish old relationships and build new ones.
René Christensen, Managing Director at Ritterhude and General Manager North West Europe, said: “These four appointments reflect LINPAC Packaging’s commitment to our customers in Germany and the surrounding countries. They are a huge asset to the company and represent the value we place on the German market and our interests there.”
