LINPAC to showcase innovation at IMHX 2010

IMHX 2010 logoLINPAC will showcase its latest innovations in racking and storage, environmental materials handling, recycling products and returnable transit packaging at this year’s International Materials Handling Exhibition – IMHX 2010 – at the NEC from 16–19 November.

LINPAC Storage Systems, LINPAC Allibert and LINPAC Environmental will be sharing an impressive 175m² stand, number 19K155, at the show – which will not only be part-constructed from two-tier racking and shelving from LINPAC Storage Systems, but will also incorporate a large mezzanine floor hospitality area.

LINPAC Storage Systems designs, manufactures and installs its APEX pallet racking and shelving solutions for clients ranging from multi-nationals, such as Tesco, River Island, Staples, Wincanton, Marks & Spencer, Argos and TNT, through to many SMEs – all from its state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Milton Keynes.

Andy Barrie of LINPAC Storage Systems explained: “This is our first major joint exhibition in the UK for a number of years, but we have a great deal to share with visitors in terms of our advanced, flexible solutions and exciting new product developments. We feel IMHX is the perfect place to do this on a scale that we believe will really impress.”

Materials handling and recycling will be at the heart of LINPAC Environmental’s area on the stand, which will feature storage and handling containers and the business unit’s extensive range of internal and external bins – all colour-coordinated to ensure WRAP compliance and designed for ease of use, to optimise take-up of business and public sector recycling initiatives.

Environmental performance will also be a recurring theme for LINPAC Allibert, which will not only be showcasing the latest innovations in folding trays and retail solutions, but also highlighting the crucial role that both RTP and managed services can play in helping to reduce costs and carbon footprint.

Maggie Dagostino, Head of Marketing and Innovation at LINPAC Allibert, added: “Between our business units we have invested in a comprehensive portfolio of solutions designed to meet the most demanding of materials handling and logistics environments.  Our focus has been very much on meeting increasingly stringent environmental requirements by giving customers the products and services they need to achieve their recycling, carbon footprint and cost-savings targets.”
