Trio to host ‘Fresh! Innovation Day’ on packaging trends
Three leading manufacturers and suppliers to the UK packaging industry have teamed up to host a forthcoming ‘innovation day’ for packers and retailers in the protein supply sector – offering insight into the latest innovations in packaging.
LINPAC Packaging, G. Mondini and Bemis will present their ‘Fresh! Innovation Day’ on Tuesday 9 October 2012. Featuring presentations by packaging and machinery experts on the latest developments in vacuum tray skin packing, there will also be a demonstration of a Mondini Trave 340 VG – a multiformat machine capable of producing MAP and all the skin formats, including protruding, super protruding and stretch seal.
LINPAC Packaging is Europe’s leading multi-material packaging manufacturer and held a series of successful ‘Fresh!’ seminars across Europe last autumn about future global trends within packaging. The company is now collaborating with Mondini – a world leader in tray sealer technology and innovation – and Bemis – a leading supplier of flexible packaging used by food, medical and pharmaceutical companies worldwide – to host the innovative event at Alton Towers, Staffordshire, in the UK.
Adam Barnett, Vice President Sales at LINPAC Packaging, said: “The Fresh! Innovation Day will give customers of all three companies, plus others with interests in the protein sector, the opportunity to see and hear about the latest innovations for vacuum seal and stretch seal packs at first hand.
“As part of our ‘Fresh Thinking’ strategy, LINPAC is committed to developing trusted partnerships with companies to ensure we can deliver quality solutions and efficiency to our customers. We are delighted to be working with Mondini and Bemis – both leaders in their respective fields – to demonstrate the products, services and technical expertise available within this sector.”
The Fresh! Innovation Day is by invitation only, but anyone interested in attending, or who simply would like more information, should email info@linpacpackaging.com.
