Viscount Plastics wins Silver in the Australian Packaging Council’s 'Packaging for Industry' Awards

Viscount Plastics has won Silver in the Australian Packaging Council’s 'Packaging for Industry' Awards, sponsored by NCI Packaging.

The award was given for the company's innovative new product Nally Enviropal™ in the specialist area of products that aid industry not only in design but by being task oriented and highly sustainable.

The only 100% post-consumer waste plastic pallet designed and manufactured in Australia, constituting 30% used milk bottles (HDPE) and 70% used stretch wrap (LLDPE), the Nally Enviropal™ utilises 1700 tonnes of waste from landfill. At the end of its lifetime, it can be recycled again and again.

Outperforming timber pallets, it lasts longer, is splinter and nail-free, weighs less, is maintenance free and requires no fumigation for export. It is washable to high standards for constant re-use. Sized to fit the Australian Supply Chain system requirements, the Nally Enviropal™ is compatible with existing supply chain infrastructures, ensuring a seamless changeover and encouraging better environmental functionality without requiring a change of practice.
