Dosing tanks
LINPAC Allibert's rotationally moulded dosing tanks are designed for the treatment of water and for storing/mixing from 60 to 1000 litres of chemicals (see photograph left).
The reliable tanks are manufactured from food grade medium density polyethylene, which is both corrosion and UV resistant. They are suitable for storing liquids with a specific gravity (density) of up to 1.9, and are easy to use, with a graduated scale moulded into the side of the translucent tank for quick level readings. A reinforced top surface is designed for supporting electrical mixing equipment or other machinery.
Large bins for liquids
The division also manufactures a wide range of large rectangular and round bins for liquids – from 175 to 2000-litre capacities. These include:
- Large bins with tapered sides
- Rectangular bins
- Round bins with vertical sides
Bins with tapered sides nest to save up to 80% of space when empty. Also manufactured from UV-resistant food-grade polyethylene, the large rectangular and round bins are suitable for the storage of liquids with a specific gravity of 1.1 and 1.5 respectively. Round bins have detachable lids as standard, and can be fitted with valves.
Although the rectangular bins are intended mainly for non-liquids, they can be used for static liquid applications. The smaller versions (up to 600 litres inclusive) nest to save 50% of space when not in use or when in return transit. We also offer optional loose lids (not watertight) for bins up to 800 litres and optional mobile platform (dolly) for all sizes (see photograph above). In addition, optional galvanised steel reinforcing tube is available for the 800 and 1200-litre versions. The standard colour of the large bins is white, although other colours are available (subject to minimum quantities).
Rotationally moulded tanks
Finally, LINPAC Allibert manufactures a wide range of large rotationally moulded liquid storage tanks with capacities from 1,500 to 15,000 litres (see photographs right and below).
Suitable for the storage of a wide variety of liquids with specific gravities up to 1.5 – these tanks are used for everything from potable water to hazardous chemicals. Many sizes are available from stock, and all are easy to install and use.
The rotational moulding process creates a one-piece vessel without welds that is totally watertight, with no risk of leaks. The uniform wall thickness of up to 8mm for some tanks also means good impact resistance. Manufactured entirely from UV-resistant medium 
density polyethylene, the tanks offer high resistance to chemicals and can be recycled at the end of their service life.
The food grade plastic used in their construction means the tanks are suitable for contact with food products, while smooth surfaces – inside and out – promote hygiene and are easily cleaned. Level indicators are moulded into the sides of tanks up to 5,000 litres. Standard colours are natural (white) and black, although other colours are available on request.
A number of optional accessories are available, including inlet and outlet connectors or welded flanges, and float level indicators.
