LINPAC appoints new President of LINPAC Plastics division
LINPAC Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Ralf K. Wunderlich to the role of President and Managing Director of LINPAC Plastics reporting to Mike Arrowsmith, Group CEO. Ralf will commence in his new role on 1st January 2008 and will also become a member of the LINPAC Group Board.
Ralf has been in the packaging industry for more than 15 years working in Europe, South East Asia, and the United States.
Most recently he has been President of Alcan Packaging Global Tobacco, where he established a clear vision and strategy for the business. This resulted in the company being focused behind its core assets with expansion coming from both organic and acquisitive growth with an emphasis on emerging markets. Intense customer engagement, best practice sharing, operational excellence and people development have been the hallmarks of the success of the business.
In his previous role, Ralf was President of Alcan Packaging in Asia Pacific overseeing multiple operational sites with the mandate to profitably grow the food packaging business, especially in South East Asia and China.
Ralf has held several executive positions in General Management, Finance and Supply Chain and he also worked for several years in a German consultancy company.
Born in Germany, Ralf completed a degree in Business Administration at the University of Aachen (FH), and he also completed an Executive Programme at the INSEAD graduate business school in Fontainebleau, France.
Ralf, 41, is married to Isabella and enjoys spending quality time with their 4 children; Christian, 14 years old, Alexander, 12 years old, Julia-Isabella, 3 years old; and one year old Tim-Hendrik.
